Problem with Awesome Google Adsense?

    Hi awesomedev_ (and others who may have an idea about this):

    I hope you’ll see this post. I’ve installed Awesome Google Adsense to 3 of my sites, Cheap Eyeglasses Online, KitchenAid Mixer Reviews, and Found Hot Deals Online. They were all running fine until today. I haven’t made any change, but when I tried to edit a page, a port, or the widgets today, I get an error.

    I wanted to attach a screen shot but I’m not sure how. Here’s part of the screen showing the issue:

    (Note: The same errors show up in both FireFox and Safari. I’ve not yet tried other browsers, but I think it will be the same.)

    The screen keeps rolling with these lines until I stop the browser or it hangs up.

  • I got the same thing. I FTPed in and deleted the folder, this allows me to get to my dashboard but removes the plugin. I reinstalled and reactivated the plugin but got the same results.

    Anybody have any ideas how to fix this?

    Yes – don’t install that plugin again.

    Thanks Guys. I had no idea I can uninstall the plugins that way. I did and now my sites are already fine, minus the adsense ads. Guess I’ll have to put in the ads in some other ways.

    So I’m having the same problem. Can you explain a little more clearly which folder I should be looking for to delete the plugin? Public html? Root? I’m new at this. Any ideas for another good plugin that lets me add Chitika Ads? Why can’t the guy who made the plugin just fix it?

    Hi rowanman28 and jakobia,

    Just in case you still need the temporary fix, here are the steps in deleting a plugin using FTP:

    1. Sign in to your hosting account
    2. Go to your FTP manager
    3. Click the domain name where you want the plugin uninstalled
    4. Click wp-content
    5. Click plugins
    6. Select (check the check box) the name of the plugin (Awesome Google Adsense in this case)
    7. Click delete

    You will now have access to your WP admin page.

    I just reinstalled it 5 minutes ago and it wasn’t working. The same problem came up.

    Dear jhyerczyk1. It was a DNS problem. If still not working, is because of DNS propagation or DNS cache. It’s just a matter of time.
