    Hi ,I hope you are ok;

I am doing a multisite website but when I installed the Autoptimize plugin I receive the following message. The message is in all sites and even in the mother site.
    What can I do?

“Autoptimize is enabled and configured on a WordPress network level. Please contact your network administrator if you need Autoptimize settings changed.”

Sorry to hear it’s broken for you, let’s see what we can do ..

    1. I assume AO was activated on the network level?
    2. There is no “Autoptimize” menu entry in “network admin” -> settings -> autoptimize?
    3. What happens when you try disabling and re-enabling AO at network level?
    4. I assume all is right when enabling AO on a per-site basis?
    5. can you check the value of the autoptimize_enable_site_config option?

Same just happened here too ?!

“4. I assume all is right when enabling AO on a per-site basis?” <– nothing change

OK, good news (well, fingers crossed); I’ve reviewed relevant code and made some important changes in how multi-site config is handled in the Github-version. Could you download the zip-file from Github and install and activate (with 2.6.0 disabled) and test?

If all is well, I’ll release 2.6.1 later today/ tomorrow with these fixes included!

    frank

“2. There is no “Autoptimize” menu entry in “network admin” -> settings -> autoptimize?” <– no, there is not

Downloaded, and will continue. I’ll be back here to tell how it goes.

Can you upload that ZIP file with FTP and unzip it on site?

OK, I’ll remove plugin and then upload all in beta to autoptimize folder…

    OK, that’s a relief ??

If @lucholj can confirm as well I can prepare the official release of 2.6.1 ??

@lucholj confirm or not, I’m OK with this ??

If ticked this “Enable Autoptimize configuration per site.” then you can’t change anything but when un-ticked, changes are possible. Is there something you should change?

    All these are un-ticked:

    Optimize JavaScript Code?
    Optimize CSS Code?
    Optimize HTML Code?

that’s the goal; if that option is ticked, network-level options are not used as config is on a site-level, hence the network-level options are visually marked is not relevant.

Are you saying that if I make changes on Multisite Options, and leave that
“Enable site configuration?” un-ticked, it effects for every site? If so, that’s great.

correct, it was designed to work exactly like that ??

considering I had @petecomwest’s blessing, 2.6.1 was released with the multisite fixes ??
