Problem with automatic update to WP 3.4

  • Hello.

    I am trying to update automaically to WP 3.4.1 but get this issue:

    Warning: copy(/homepages/44/d372942412/htdocs/app426302789/wp-admin/includes/update-core.php) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /homepages/44/d372942412/htdocs/app426302789/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-direct.php on line 200
    Could not copy files.

    Installation Failed

    Does anyone please know of some solution to this?

  • make sure your site files permission are 755+ or writable. If can’t change it by yourself, contact the hosting will be helpful. If no luck, then you have to download and unzip the files to upload manually via FTP.

    Thank you for the information! Probably will contact my hosting and if nothing can be done will just go and do the manual
