Problem with author id in shortcode

Can you post your repeater template and note that orderby rand is not supported.

In this page, I use following shortcode :

Note: I deleted the rand criteria in the shortcode but still doesn’t work.

And I sue following repeater template :

I tried to use different repeaters templates but nothing work. The shortcode works only when I remove the author criteria in the shortcode (was working perfectly before the last release of wordpress).

Ok thanks, Yes that page crashed my browser.
I just tested an author query and it works as expected in 4.4.2 so it’s likely an error on your page template or in your repeater template.

Yes. There are both impleted exactly the same way. This is really strange… And the author id is one of my most important criteria for business purpose.
Any idea will be very welcome !

Can you try updating your repeater template to be simply the <h1><?php the_title(); ?> or something simlar. You need to start determining what the cause of the loop issue would be.

Unfortuntly same result… I’ve deleted all the parameters of the shortcode. The bug appears only when author parameter is insered.

That sucks. Sorry – im not sure. As I said I tested on two installs and it’s working as expected.
