problem with anchor & Elementor, site don’t stop at the anchor with firefox
-
I have the following problem:
I have set an anchor on a home page that I created via Elementor using “Menu Anchor Widget” (Elermentor).
In Chrome and Edge everything works fine.
In Firefox, the anchor does not work when “called” from external. The page automatically scrolls to the end, and does not stop where it should.
If I call the anchor from the same page (home page) (just extend the URL with #xxx and press Enter – https://(blabla)/#xxx), it works correctly (thereby the page is not reloaded!).
I hope I express myself understandably.
This URL (https://(blabla)/#xxx) is also stored in a menu item in the navigation. So if I am on any other page than the home page and click on the menu link, I end up with Firefox on the home page, but just at the end of the page and not at the jump mark.Test-wise, I set an anchor WITHOUT Elementor on another page (which has never been edited with Elementor), and it works correctly.
Then I set an anchor on a completely different website, with a different theme (!) also via Elementor, and this also works correctly. The combination of “set anchor via Elementor” and the theme foodhunt seems to be the problem…. ??
Any ideas?
