I have a problem with the automatic notification: when I change the order status in woocommerce to “on hold”, the relative notifications is not sent to the customer. But if I change to any other status, relatives mails are sent successfully. I have already checked the settings in woocommerce and it is correct (“enable this email notification” for On hold status is checked).

And the email doesn’t even end up in the customer’s spam mailbox.

Does anybody have an idea of ??how we can solve this issue?

    Hi @kawiil

The “On Hold” email will only send when the status is changed from one of these states: Pending Payment, Failed, or Canceled.

What do you use the On Hold status for? Perhaps we can offer a suggestion for how to manage that process. We also have an extension that lets you customize your order statuses: WooCommerce Order Status Manager
