the past week I am getting messages on adsense about IAF TC string. Tried to move to the new version but things got worse. I am using legacy now (which I prefer) and still getting errors. How can I reset the contents from my users? I am getting error 3.3.

    Hi @euklidis,

    Greetings from CookieYes!

Google has advised their Ads users to modify the banner message content in order to comply with their Ads policies. Furthermore, it is suggested that a link to Google’s Ads policy be included in the cookie description section under the cookie categories. This will enable users to comprehend the data being utilized for personalized ads and give explicit consent.

    1. You can add “cookies are used for ads personalisation” in the first layer of the consent notice (cookie message on the banner). ?For example:?We use cookies to enhance your browsing experience, serve personalised ads or content, and analyse our traffic. By clicking “Accept All”, you consent to our use of cookies
    ?
    2. Additionally, declare how Google will use your user’s personal data when they give consent on their site/app e.g. by including a link to Google’s Privacy & Terms site. (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites). This information can be added to the cookie description of Google cookies from?GDPR Cookie Consent > Cookie list > Edit Google cookies? (https://www.google.com/about/company/user-consent-policy-help/). You can add other specific policies from Google related to ads along with these two links.

    Hope this will help!
    ?

This is for the new interface. Anything for the old? What happens to the new if we surpass 100.000 users? Does it stop functioning?

    Hi @euklidis,

The recommendation provided is for our legacy version. In the revamped version, you will have 25,000 pageviews a month in the free plan, after which the banner won’t be visible.

You can upgrade the plan if you have more site visitors. The basic plan is offering 100,000 pageviews a month.

The problem is that the plugin doesn’t ask for a new consent after 13 months. Not the text in the banner. This is error 3.3 that i get in adsense.

    Hi @euklidis,

In the legacy plugin, the consent is saved using a cookie named viewed_cookie_policy. The duration of this cookie is 365 days, and after its expiry, the consent banner will reappear. You can check and verify in your cookie list the duration for this cookie is correct.

If you share the site URL privately via this link, we can have a closer look at your site.

    Hi @euklidis,
Error 3.3 seems to be an error associated with the IAB’s TCF framework.

We understand that our plugin is not currently utilizing this framework and therefore it may not be possible for us to provide the necessary TC string to resolve the error.

We suggest reaching out to Google for further guidance in this regard. They may be able to provide more specific instructions on how to resolve this error, especially if the CMP is not following the IAB TCF framework.

Since there hasn’t been any activity in this thread for a while, we’re going to mark it as resolved. If you need any additional assistance or have any additional questions, feel free to start a new topic or reply.
