Problem with Additional info field translation

  • Hi, with the last update, this plugin is multilingual for all element in front end, but one field: Additional info.

    The text to traslate is: “To use this website, you accepted our Privacy Policy. If you wish to withdraw your acceptance, please use the “Delete my data” button below.”

    I’m using Polylang and I have tried to put text translated inside this field changing the language at the top, in the admin bar, but the plugin doesn’t store the traslation.

    i have searched for this text string in the .po file but obioubsly there isn’t.

    How can I traslate that text field?

  • Hi there!

    Currently uploading v1.0.7 where the translations pot file is updated.

    But this text is also editable with a wysiwyg editor – go to Tools > Privacy > Consent and scroll down.

    Yes, I’m referring just to that wysiwyg field editor! It’s that field that doesn’t work. If I leave in english all my languages are in english and if I try to translate changing the language at the top of the wp dashboard, the plugin doesn’t store the translated text. So, if I translate in italian, I will have that field in italian for all site languages.

    I will look into this and try to add Polylang compatibility very soon!

    Hi, the plugin now allow to select Privacy tools page and Privacy policy page for every language, but the text of “Additional info” is already not translatable.

    Can you add support for Polylang also for this aspect in the near future? Thanks
