    Dear support forum,

I have an issue with adding a “slug” and unfortunately everything I’ve searched makes this situation about as clear as mud.

    Backstory…

I have PowerPress configured to with with the default “post” and have been using it happily for the past 5 years.

I purchased a new WordPress theme, that includes a custom post type called “Podcast.” This custom post type is required to use some of the features of the theme. So I have attempted to use the PowerPress feature to add PowerPress podcasting to the custom Post Type “podcast” in my WordPress theme.

I read all the potential naming conflict information in the PowerPress FAQ, and this does not fall into one of the problem categories.

When I follow the steps I’m required to add a “slug,” which I do and it is then is tacked on to my regular RSS feed on the subsequent PowerPreess page, and I can not validate that fee with the extra slug.

I understand that the slug exists so that there is not confusion or create problems, but I really don’t understand how to clue anything else (RSS, BluBerry) that this has happened, so it will continue to work.

Adding a brand new RSS feed is a non-starter and I don’t understand where my disconnect is or how I reconcile it.

I’ve already put more hours into this than any should. Any/all help is appreciated.

    Kindest regards,
