    Hello,

Two days ago, Wordfence told me that there are a security issue in Woocommerce 8.4 so I updated directly to 8.5 version by using FTP.

Since then, the scheduled actiosn don’t work anymore. I have a message on top of the back office that send me there : https://actionscheduler.org/faq/#my-site-has-past-due-actions-what-can-i-do

I’ve tried to update the Woocomerce database but I guess it just added a task in the queue that is not done.

I’ve put back the files of Woocommerce 8.4 but i’m still stuck. Could the problem be that when I put the files of 8.5 by FTP the database update was not done and it break the action sheduler?

If so how can I fix this problem?

    Thank you

I answer to my own message with the solution because it can help someone else.

The issue was not with Woocommerce or a conflict with another plugin. The issue came from a settings in the Cloudflare service that I use to secure the website. I had switch on a settings against bots and that’s what was blocking the cron job.

    Hi @marc_o,

We appreciate your initiative to help other users. Your information about the Cloudflare settings interfering with the cron job operation is valuable. It’s crucial to remember that while securing the website, some settings might affect other functionalities like plugins or services such as WooCommerce.

Again, thank you for your contribution. Your effort to aid other users is commendable and greatly appreciated by our community.

I’ll now mark this thread as resolved.

    Cheers!

    Hello @koullis,

Yes of course. The option is in the Security menu, unders “Bots”, it’s the “Bot Fight Mode” as you can see in this screenshot : https://postimg.cc/8fWnPTkn

I’ve seen that all the “bots” blocked are logged and you can exclude when it’s a false positive like I had. I haven’t tested it as I didn’t turn on the service but I guess if you exclude the IP or one of the other settings in the log you can manage to use the service without breaking the cron job :
