• HI,
After a small modification on my website – I didn’t knew that i should have disabled the plug-in to do this because so far it worked well without –
So , I can no longer access my administration area of wordpress and the following message appears:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_network_admin() in /homepages/18/d316832517/htdocs/viamalaura/wp-admin/includes/menu.php on line 10

Could someone help me to solve this problem?

    Thanks in advance

    What kind of modification?

If this happened by installing a plugin, you can go in via FTP and delete it.

i just added 2 images on the wordpress like i usually do. The thing is i do’t know what image caused the problem and don’t know which plug-in to delete.
From the fatal error, can someone give me more guidance on what to delete exactly ?

    Thanks

Just copy off each plugin directory (as a backup) and remove the one on the server. Or just remove all permissions from each plugin directory on the server and see if the problem goes away. Either way do one plugin at a time so you will know which one caused the issue.

can you tell me what looks like a plugin extension as i never touched any plugins since i’ve had the website, a webmaster installed it and i’ve only uploaded pictures from the wordpress interface.

perhaps from the fatal error message can we find out what plugin extension i need to delete ?

    thanks

    /wp-content/plugins

So you will see below similar to this below that:
    /askimet
    /contact-form

Just try renaming each plugin directory one at a time.

ok so from what you are saying the problem is from an extension /.. that is not correctly named.
I just need to take each one out one at a time and see which one is creating this fatal error then when i find the plugin i just need to rename it ?

No. The problem MOST LIKELY is caused by a conflict with a plugin itself and not the name. Renaming a plugin directory will disable the plugin. I was giving you the directory structure for plugins since you asked above “can you tell me what looks like a plugin extension”
Rename one plugin directory at a time and see if that fixes your problem which would also give you the problematic plugin.

Plugins are not extensions in WordPress. They are folders which content code in PHP files. The easiest way to disable a plugin is to rename the plugin FOLDER.

i just added 2 images on the wordpress like i usually do.

Okay, how do you NORMALLY do that? ??

i only update the pages of the website through the wordpress interface. I go on fillezilla to upload gallery images or php files. Its my assistant who uploaded the last images i think it was through the interface, i’ll check with her tomorrow.
Anyways i think i understand what i should do now.

I’ll go on fillezilla and rename the plugins and see which one created the problem in the first place.
    Thanks for you help ??
