Problem when migrating site

  • First, I love your plugin. Awesome work!

    My problem is that when I migrated a site from staging to live tonight (using WP Migrate DB Pro) all of the pages that used inline svg elements threw major errors about mismatched tags, etc. Have you dealt with this and do you have any tips for how to migrate a site using your plugin without issues?

    Hi there,

    If you’re getting mismatched tags it’s probably because the SVG code either buggy from the start or gets modified when MDB copies the content of the tables. Can you send me more info like the errors themselves or the SVG code that is the culprit?

    The plugin strips from tags from SVG but if that were the issue then you’d get errors before migrating as well.

    I was actually able to fix the problem by using the Duplicator plugin instead of WP Migrate DB Pro. This makes me think that the issue was caused by WP Migrate DB Pro.

    If I run into the issue again, I will post the error and SVG code… Thanks for your response…
