    Hello team ??

I tried changing “PDF File Name Prefix” in the settings to

[companyname]_myform_[mydate]sent_on[date] so that it can be more easily found in the search of WP media library.

But I had problem when in companyname field people had 2 or more words with blanks in them. Same thing for the date field. Whenever there was a blank the pdf used with blank was downloadable but then was not saved in the server and therefore not accessible nor readable in the WP medialibrary.

My question is : Would it be possible that if there is a field that contains blank space to replace it with a “-” or a “_” underscore when saving the pdf ?

Thanks in advance for your help and feedback

    Cotp

While giving custom prefix , if there exist any space it will replace it with “-“

Thanks Zealous for your answer, does it also work if the space is inside a variable ?

Like what I have entered for “PDF File Name Prefix” right now is

[companyname]_myform_[mydate]sent_on[date] and when people enter a company called “Custom Test”, the pdf isn’t saved to the server and causes a bug in medialibrary.

I have latest version of the plugin installed and just tried it again and the URL for the plugin was

    https://mywebsite.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Test Space Problem_myform_24.02.2023_sent_on_22 février 2023-1677094466-3028.pdf

So you can see there are spaces in “Test Space Problem” which was the name of the company I gave an also on date “22 février 2023

Thanks for your feedback if you have anyidea why

    Hello There,

For that variable please pass it into slug format and test it once

Also Can you share Screenshot of pdf setting, or short video of how you passing the prefix , it will be helpful in knowing the issue

Are these your own custom short codes that you are passing or contact form 7’s fields?

Also can you share link to test
