Problem w/displaying some words ie.. crudité in WP

    I have a recipe section, and some words like crudité have
    an accented letter in them. The word ends up displaying like this crudit鳮on my recipes pages in WordPress.

    What can I do?

    Figured it out.. I hand code in notepad, and figured out that if I saved the php as UTF-8, it would resolve the problem. It’s nice to figure something like this on ones own and not feel so utterly clueless. ??
