Problem viewing in IE8

I’ve prepared a railway blog at https://railway.org using “hero” theme which I liked very much.

Although everything ok for me where I use IE10, I soon discovered that users with IE8 have problems viewing my site.

All letters are too small to read.

I do not want to change the theme -if possible-, and looking forward to finding a help about that problem.
