problem using WP jQuery Lightbox

  • hye,

    i’m trying to use this plugin, but it seems that it doesn’t work for me..
    i installed, activated..
    put some pictures in the gallery, replaced [gallery] with [gallery link="file"]..

    and when i click at the pics, it doesn’t have any lightbox..just goes to the pic’s page..

    can anybody help me tru this? tq

    Make sure you clear the cache. (browser and server).
    Make sure you haven’t got any broken javascripts on your site.

    i’m doin this on a local server..
    i’ve cleared the cache already but it still doesnt works..
    there’s no lightbox

    ermm..i tried using a default theme..and it works fine..
    anybody can help me on troubleshooting my theme?
    is the jquery messed up or what?

    I had the exact same problem and found no documentation regarding the issue. Comparing the generated code with the default theme I found that I just had to add:

    <?php wp_head(); ?>

    to the header.php file (inside the <head> tag obviously) for it to start working like a charm. It’s downright beautiful.
