Problem using with Participants Database Plugin

I’m using the theme with this plugin that lists the contents of a participants database. Everything works fine except at the bottom of any list where it has “Previous, a list of pages, and Next” these are all listed on different lines and indented something like….

3
Next

Someone else said they had a similar problem and that it was caused by “display: inline” but he didn’t elaborate.

Anyone have an idea what causes this.
