    Hi,

    I’ve been wrestling with the plugin not using the image I provide it and I think I’ve found out why. Bascially my theme, I’ve turned off…

    add_theme_support('post-thumbnails');

    …because I don’t want to use post thumbnails on my blog posts. This however conflicted with your plugin which saves the image as the post thumbnail.

    I’d advise that you change this so that you can just save any old image against the Advert, rather than use post thumbnails which may or may not be enabled by the theme.

    Cheers for a great plugin all the same,
    Phil

    Hi Jepson Rae,

    Thank you for your support post.

    This is an issue that has come up a couple of times and also something that I do need to address. You’ll be happy to hear (and bare with me here) that I’m currently working on image management with the plugin that allows you to set a size on the advert type which in turn create the ‘add_image_size’ code to create that image size for the images uploaded.

    Now, I know this doesn’t help you in the slightest, but it does mean that I will be changing the output of the adverts. While I am there, I will be sure to make a check for post-thumbnails support and return an image accordingly.

    Please keep an eye out for the next update as it will be present in that.

    Thanks again for your post.

    Sorry, I shouldn’t reply so early in the morning ??

    I’ve started to implement an alternative method of attaching an image to the advert is ‘post-thumbnails’ isn’t supported. The advert type sizing will still work for you ??

    Hi Jepson Rae,

    I have just released an update, 1.7, which supports the lack of “post-thumbnail” support.

    Let me know how you go with that.

    Thanks
