    Hello,

I’m having an issue when i upload images from the frontend. Where is the function that handles the image uploading?

I’ve tried to upload random images from the net and works fine, also with pics taken from my mobile but the ones taken from the Canon camera aren’t being upload, instead, a white image is set. I’ve tried to process the images (compressing them (from 6k to 1k, also from 15mb to 300kb), changing the format (jpg, jpeg, png..) and so on) but doesn’t work.

Lastly, i tried to upload them directly on the backend, using WordPress native uploader and works smoothly, so i guess it’s some kind of limitation on the Ulisting uploading function.

    Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Well, as i already opened the topic, i have a doubt. There’s any addon or attribute to display 360o images on the listing? Any way to do that?

    Hello @redsmaug,

    Thank you for reaching out!

There is no restriction to uploading images on the front end add listing page. If you could share the images we will test the issue in our testing environment.

By default, there is no option to display the 360o images directly. If you could find a third-party plugin that gives an option to display these images through shortcode you can use the WP editor custom field to add shortcode.

    Kind regards

    Thank you!

I didn’t see the WP editor option in attributes, it’s very convenient. 360 images already working ??

About the images, after more editing (png and ~5mb each now) some are being upload, but most of them aren’t. If i try to upload ~50 images in a row only first 4-5 pics are being upload, most of them aren’t and a white image is displayed.

It’s weird cause the send proccess lasts less than 1s, and that amount of images are like 300mb (this conenection only has 30mb uload speed, so it should take around 100 seconds to get them uploaded).

    There’s a set of images: https://wetransfer.com/downloads/ba210cda33d8a5a708bd461569143cb120220807121224/59862cebc3cf1730918558e519f3ee5f20220807121225/a826c9

On another topic, something i forgot to ask. It is mandatory to use user plans?

I’d like to skip the plan selection when i upload a property (it’s gonna be single agency real estate website, the only registered users will be the agents so it doesn’t make sense at all to have user plans in this case), i’ve tried not setting a single plan on the admin cp but once the listing is sent it returns a fail message and isn’t uploaded.

    Regards

Sorry for double posting, but it doesn’t let me edit my previous post.

After some more tests, i see i’m able to upload many images if i add them 1 by 1 (publish with 1 pic, then edit the listing and adding one image at a time, so it’s needed to edit it 50 times to add 50 images).

That’s annoying, but hopefully helps to find what’s wrong, maybe how image upload queue is handled?

    Hello @redsmaug,

I uploaded the images which you shared in our testing environment:

    https://www.loom.com/share/1322324b17b345718027f23b47d58236

All images are uploaded and visible on the media gallery (Screenshot) and when you edit the listing on backend (Screenshot).

Pricing plans allow you to set a number of images when you are creating the listings on the Front end. By default, users can upload 5 images without a pricing plan per listing.

    Regards
