Problem Uploading Files to Webpages

  • I would be grateful for help.

    I am very new to WordPress and am running a small webpage for a small club.

    I want to upload files that link to webpages. These are either images or PDFs or Word documents.

    I have had no problem doin this up until now. Currently when uploading I get the following message:

    The uploaded file could not be moved to /data/members/paid/c/c/ccfg.co.uk/htdocs/www/wordpress//../../../../../../../../../../../../../../../../../tmp.
    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /data/members/paid/c/c/ccfg.co.uk/htdocs/www/wordpress/wp-admin/admin-functions.php:1879) in /data/members/paid/c/c/ccfg.co.uk/htdocs/www/wordpress/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1219

    I have no idea what this means or how to get around the problem. Can anyone help?
