Problem uploading files for attachments

Hello. I’m getting the following error when logged in to a user account with the Author role:
Uploading
Dismiss Errors
Error Getting Star…3-06-23).pdf An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.
If the file is selected from the Media Library there is no problem. But, when the file is uploaded from the computer, I get the error.
When trying to upload files with Administrator role, there is no problem.
