We are trying to upgrade from PHP 5.5 to 5.6 and so far we are only having a problem with this plugin.

    – WordPress up to date? YES
    – NextGEN up to date? YES
    – All plugins up to date? YES
    – Do you have a caching plugin installed? If so, please purge/delete all site cache and deactivate the plugin. Clear your browser cache and reload the page with the issue. Is it still there? NO
    – Try disabling all browser extensions/plugins and clear browser cache and reload, does that help? N/A

    – MySQL up to date (at least 5.6+)? YES
    – PHP up to date (at least 5.6+)? Using 5.5 without issues, upgrade to 5.6 creating issues.
    – The mod_rewrite Apache module activated? NO (running under IIS)
    – PHP Safe Mode OFF? YES

This is the error that we are getting with PHP 5.6 (but not with 5.5):
PHP Fatal error: Class ‘C_Router’ not found in C:\Web Server\webapps\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\nextgen-gallery\nggallery.php on line 557

@kamborio – Although I personally test extensively with PHP 5.6 I do not use a Windows based server (a different matter) but as it is, all I can suggest beyond the current information you have provided is to start with re-installing NextGEN Gallery and/or using the Reset Option under Gallery > Other Options to see if there may be a corrupted file and/or a path/routing issue created with your PHP upgrade.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
