The basic problem is that I am not able to upgrade to the latest version of WordPress. More specifically, I have been trying to add captions to photos on my site. I add them, click publish and they don’t show up. In trying to solve this problem I ran into the upgrade problem. The post that I read indicated that there should be an upgrade button on my admin page. There is no upgrade button. I have tried to append a screen shot but this dialogue won’t accept a jpeg and there is no attachment function…

Is there any error message you are getting from any page, what is your website address

I see no error message. My website is witmckay.com.

When I edit I see the caption copy and click Update, but when I go to the site, no caption… When I go to Library>Image>View I see the caption but not on the site…

    Hi,
It is possible, that the theme you’re currently using doesn’t support display of captions. Have you checked the theme documentation?

For the update problem, share a screenshot on imgur.com

    Good day!
