Problem updating from 2.3 to 2.3.2

The my wpsite is constantly telling me to update my Yoast SEO. If I use the new update tool on the “installed plugins” page it will start to update but it will say it did not work becuase of “undefined reason”. If I use the update tool which summarises all possible updates from plugins, themes etc it says that the update worked but the version is unfortunately still 2.3 and the reminders will continue.
I dont want to uninstall and install because then I will loose all settings.
