    Hello !

First thanks for this amazing template ! I juste love it, it is exactly what I needed. Clean, fast and reliable.

I just have a problem with translating it.

I followed what is explained on this page : https://thematosoup.com/translating-wordpress-themes-plugins/

I use a child theme but I tried by using the main theme : nothing change.

    I have the folder with
    /languages/pho.pot
    /languages/pho.mo
    /languages/pho-fr_FR.po
    /languages/pho-fr_FR.mo

And I can’t see any change (I cleaned the cache and did everything that I think can be done).
Do you have any hint on what I could do to solve this ?
    Thanks a lot !
    Regards,
    Guillaume

  • For example:
    in 404.php file there is

<p><?php _e( 'It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try search?', 'pho' ); ?></p>

I can easily crate a text like this on my own, for example Published by:

    <p><?php _e( 'Published by', 'pho' ); ?></p>

but how do I get Published by in the Poedit where I would be able to translate it into other languages?

That’s right, and it’s not possible to add a string in the po file.

My suggestion would be to use a string you don’t need or to copy the file where “Published by” is in your child theme and then change it in the code.

    Regards,
