    Hi Alin :).

I have a problem to see the locations of users on my dashboard. I have javascript errors during the load of location telling me:
“This service requires an API key. For more information on authentication and Google Maps Javascript API services please see: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key”
But I have created a project on https://console.developers.google.com/ and I’ve activated the “Google Maps Embed API” and the “Google Maps JavaScript API” so I don’t understand how to avoid these errors.
There is something weird too and this is the fact that I can display some locations (even if there’s errors during the loading of the map) in France (by adding the code FR in the settings but I can’t display the world locations. None location is displayed when I remove the FR code…

Could you help me please ?? ?

    TIA.

    Amicably,

    Pierre.

  • Hi,

I’m aware about it, but unfortunately there is no simple solution, it’s related to some changes made by Google Maps few months ago.

Loading the Visualization library in a way that will avoid this will generate conflicts with other plugins relying on the same library. Unless something changes, I’m going to simply remove the Geo Chart from that report, because so far I haven’t manage to find a reliable solution.

    Hi Alin ?? !

Happy to know that you’re aware of the problem, but sad to know that there’s no solution actually and that you’ll remove the geo chart while looking to find one.

Anyway, thanks for the quick response ;).

    Amicably,

    Pierre.

@pierre_02 give it a try and see how it works. In 4.9.4 you can enter a Maps API Key, see the Backend Settings screen. Something did change meanwhile, will see if it’s reliable enough. It passed the beta testings well, but we’ll see.
