• I have use the video te set u this blog.I used CPanel to upload my file, but when to continue to install wordpress it not become correctly. The correct in the video that i see is when we open to the file wordpress it become FIRST STEP.But it become like this:

    Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?

    Somebody can help me?

  • This thing above is come out using CPanel 10.It have any different?

It doesn’t matter what Cpanel version you have. As long as you have the file manager (even if it’s not the newest one), and a way to create a db and db user then that’s all the functionality you really need in Cpanel to install WP.

You should be able to either read the directions provided in the docs here and/or view the video to figure this out. If not, then you really need to just get someone to help you…find a friend who is good with technology and I’m sure they can help you figure this out.

AND the wp-config file indeed also needs the user password to access the database!
