Greetings, I am experiencing a problem with the powerpress plugin.

I have been using the powerpress plugin for more than 3 years and it has always worked perfectly. But today I have a surprise. Upon entering the dashboard of my wordpress blog, everything works excellent, I have published several posts without difficulties, and everything ok.

I have approx. 20 days without publishing an episode of my podcast. It happens that today, before publishing a new episode, I decided to make an adjustment in the configuration of powerpress in my wordpress blog, (I already said that wordpress does work perfectly) and when I go to the plugin menu, in the section “settings” no It allows me to access any setting, neither in the advanced mode nor in the simple mode and the following message appears:

The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site administrator’s email inbox for instructions.

Important: the plugin is active and works. I have not done it yet but I think I could publish an episode in my wordpress blog using power press without problems, I can also access the sections: import podcast, migrate media, seo for podcasting, audio player, mp3 tagas, tools, etc. The only section that I cannot access or modify is “settings”.

I apologize for my english. Im from latinoamerica and I use version 7.5.4 of powerpress in spanish.

    My feed is https://www.trascendencia.com.ve/feed/podcast

Are you using the WooCommerce plugin? If so, this message:
“The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site administrator’s email inbox for instructions.”

Is being generated by the WooCommerce plugin. In which chase, you should contact WooCommerce support for help.

No friend, I don’t use any type of plugin or sales system. My blog is about music news and podcasts.

Some time ago we activated a new theme and I don’t know if that had to do with it. His name is Newspaper v.9.8, I really do not believe.

I have installed among others, these plugins which I have disabled to see if my problem with powerpress was solved but it was not.

    – All in one seo
    – iThemes Security
    – WP Super Cache
    – Autoptimize
    etc.

The truth would greatly appreciate the help.

As I said at the beginning, I can access all sections of powerpress (podcast, channels, import podcast, sound player, video, mp3 tags) except SETTINGS

I’ve written to blubbry, but I’m still waiting for an answer.

    Thanks in advance.

Another question, if I uninstall Powerpress plugin to install again, do I lose all my feed settings, etc?

I think I found the problem, my new template has required to enable mbstring in PHP.

I have looked for a tutorial to do it and I think it has worked.

I’ll let you know here if powerpress has problems again.

Thanks for the update. To answer your question about PowerPress settings: the settings are stored in your WordPress database, so deactivating/uninstalling PowerPress won’t cause your settings to be lost.
