Problem Syncronization Cookiedatabase.org

  • Hello,

    I have a problem at the syncronization step with cookiedatabase.org.
    It can’t synchronize cookies with my site and a 540 gateway time-out error appears after a while.

    Error on file : /wp-json/complianz/v1/do_action/sync?_locale=user 504 Gateway Time-Out


    Connections with external api/sites are blocked for security reasons, but I can make exceptions if I have the url of the external service to provide. Currently I’ve requested an exception for the cookiedatabase.org and wpconsentapi.org url but the error persists. Do you have an idea?

    Thank you for reaching out.

    In this case, you should also request the exception for the Complianz REST API. The URL is the following one: www.site.domain/wp-json/complianz/v1/.

    This should solve your issue.

    I tried to make an exception for this url but I always get a 504 error. I’m not sure what to do.
    If it’s a problem on the hosting side, I don’t know what to ask them.

    Hello @maylisbesset22 ,

    In this case, you can reach out to them, explaining that you are getting 504 errors when you try to whitelist wp-json/complianz/v1/, and ask if they can check if this issue is hosting/server-sided.
    This issue is limiting the capabilities of the plugin.
