Same issue. Happened before the update, and after as well.

All setup steps go well. Get to “You’re all set!” screen and click “Done” which opens the screen with the WooCommerce and Automattic logo “Something went wrong when connecting Facebook! Please try again.”

Same issue for me. I even did the change where they ask you to change the option for your business id just to the name of the business, removing all other characters, and it still throws up this error. ??

Same issue. I also tried the solution with customizing the Business ID, but nothing happens.

    Hi @valantis_c

At step “What is Woocommerce Extension V2 allowed to do” make sure all fields are open. Facebook recently updated their settings to toggle “Manage your business” permission to Off by default.

    Sorry for missing that!

Have you tried making the connection with only WooCommerce core, Facebook plugin and a default theme such as Storefront active? If not, this would be the next step to take in testing the connection.

Also, Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Hi @sizilianischekueche,

Can you please start your own thread? We’d love to help, and since your site is a different setup than the others, we’ll want to look at your case as a separate occurrence. Please provide the same information as was requested, so we can take a look. Thank you!

    Hi there,

I have fixed it – basically you should wait the facebook pixel has been activated by facebook. You can then connect plugin with fb.
