    Hi,
First question: when i choose “selected pages”, it shows me just some pages but not all the pages i wanna select.

Second question: How could i show the popup once to users? If i leave a page and i come back to this one, i see an other time popup.

    Many thanks.

  • Dear @lorcur ,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

Let’s go over the questions one by one.

    1) How about choosing the Page Type filter and seeing if it brings up the desired pages? https://prnt.sc/D1YnY8m8sWw3
Also, just to note, you can have the popup show everywhere with WordPress plugin settings and then customize the rest with the Display Rules (Some Pages option) with the URLs. You will simply need to insert the URLs where the popup is or isn’t supposed to show.
Check the How to open popup on site pages tutorial for more info.

    2) You can show the popup just once by controlling the popup showing frequency as shown in the tutorial below:
How to control popup Showing Frequency?

Please note that the frequency setting is connected with the browser cookie. So, in case the browser is changed or cache & cookies are cleared, the same person will see the popup.

We would also like to note that the popup didn’t appear here: https://www.test.ripetiamodiritto.com/
Was the popup disabled for some reason?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Hey thanks for your answer.

Yes i’ve found the settings and i insert the URLS to show the popup.

But i’d like showing this popup once per user/per day.

    How can i set this?

    Many thanks

Glad to see that you’ve found the way to deal with URLs.

As for the other question, we checked the popup and noticed that it has a button inside.
So there are two options you can choose from.

    1) The first option would allow you not to show the popup more than once a day to people who clicked the button inside the popup. To do that, you should click on the button element, click on the option called “Don’t show popup after button click”, set 1 in the Cookie Expires option (the value is for days) and save the popup. See the screenshot for visual help.

    2) The second option will help if you want the user to see the popup just once no matter they clicked the button or no. You can show the popup just once by controlling the popup showing frequency as shown in the tutorial below:
How to control popup Showing Frequency?

In any case, no matter which option you decide to go with, make sure to save the popup afterwards and clear cache of the cache plugin you may use. This will make sure you can see the change you made in effect immediately.

Let us know if you managed to set the correct frequency for the popup.

So i should clear the cache of popup maker, right?

    how can i set this?

    Dear @lorcur ,

It’s not necessary to clear cache, it’s just a precaution in case the cache plugin you may be using keeps cache and the change isn’t seen immediately.

If you set the correct options, check the popup and all is good, then no need to clear cache at the moment.

Also, what we meant was the whole website cache, not just Popup Maker. Not sure if the cache plugins provide a way to clean cache for a single plugin at all.

    Dear @lorcur ,

    Hope you’re fine.

We were wondering whether the popup works as you wished.

Please, let us know if any further assistance is needed.
