'Problem Saving Upload' when importing from CSV

  • Hi There,

    We’re getting the following error when trying to import from CSV.

    ‘Problem Saving Upload’

    I’ve tried with a csv with only 2 users, so I know it’s not a file size issue and I am also able to add users manually to this list.

    Can you please advise?

    CSV files can be tricky. Any little formatting issue can interfere. That’s why we have an alternative. Try this.

    Thanks for your quick reply.

    Unfotunately we have over 600 entries we’d like to import and when we copy and paste to add users manually we need to add commas for each entry.

    Is there anyway I can provide you with the file I’m trying to upload to test?

    Just another thought – do you think this could be do to with permissions set on our server? We recently changed our server set up…

    hi ellah6,

    it could be a permissions issue it sounds like SendPress can’t copy the upload CSV file to your wp-content folder. If you want to email your list to [email protected] i will test it but based on that error message i think it can’t save the file to disk.
