Problem removing portion of my theme

    Ok i am using the following theme:

    Custom Community 1.8.9.1 by Themekraft

    My wordpress is here:

    Ok now my problem is theres a part above the bottom Links section that says:

    “20 widget areas all over the site

    4 header + 4 footer widget areas (2 full width and 6 columns).
    6 widget areas for members + 6 for groups.”

    I would like this part removing from the blog thorughout but am unsure as to how i would do it, ive tried editing template files etc but cant find the code that i need to delete!

    Any help is really really appreciated!

  • Hi Ash,
    I don’t think you need to modify template files just go to Appearences > Widgets in your wordpress admin and edit the info there.

    Hi Sunny,

    I have looked here before and i cant find anything! Ive openeed every menu on the right hand side but only that top one contains anything!

    heres a screen of what I see

    I definately think it is either a widget area or you need to edit your footer.php file. If you want me to look at it for you, feel free to make me a temp admin and send me an email with the details and I will fix it for you: [email address removed]

    Nothing I can see in the footer

    I dont feel comfortable with letting someone having admin privilages so if anyone could help further its much appreciated.

    I fixed it, went to theme settings, and just clicked save changes, without changing anything…

    bizarre lol
