    Hi,

In the following image, the following feature Enabled Redirect to Last Page is not enabled. Why is that?

    Thank you

    Hi,

No it is not activated because I have configured the redirection in each member access separately by indicating the link. The link is different depending on the access that’s why.

The customer pointed out another problem to me, when he clicks on edit profile, he comes across another profile that is not his.

Ok so after several tests and research here is where the problem of redirection or connection apparently comes from.

When the user connects and clicks on “edit profile” he arrives on a profile that is not his (william ….)

We have tried with all the users who have connection or redirection problems and for each of them when they go to “edit profile” they arrive on the “william …” profile. William profile was created the 27 of november.

I deleted the subscriber William but that does not change anything.

For this to work again I have to remove the member’s access and recreate it.

I do not understand and dont know what to do now.

Can you enable this feature? Then carry out a test?

Did you also delete the WP User William account?

Try disabling the plugin, then enabling it again. This sometimes fixes some issues.

Let me know how you go.

    Thank you

    Hi

So I still have the problem, when the user logs in they are not redirected (I have the redirect enabled) and they fall on the profile section. And when he clicks on edit profile it is William’s profile.

I removed William from the users, I disabled and re-enabled the plugin but same problem, even with new users (yesterday).

To solve the problem, I have to delete the subscriber’s record and recreate it manually, then it works. So I am wondering if this is not a problem with the Wp Membership plugin for woocommerce which automatically generates a subscription upon purchase? Because apparently when it’s a manual creation, it works fine. Thank you

Can you disable the WooCommerce addon, then carry out a test? This would verify your theory.

    Thank you

So for the moment I have unchecked the function which automatically creates an account during the purchase because I noticed that the default account was the “man” account.

The option was on, so I turned it off and will see today if the problem persists. If it persists I would then try to totally deactivate the woo addon. I will keep you posted, thank you.

Hi, how are you trailing with your issue?

    Thank you

Hello, after disabling the automatic account creation function in the woo plugin the problem continues. Users are not redirected or cannot log in (especially on phones). By clicking on edit, always william’s profile. On the other hand in private browsing, it seems to work.

So today I completely deactivate the extension to see if the problem continues and I get back to you.

    Thank you.

    I Mean the woo addon.

So I go back to the news, this is not from the woo addon, even when I enter a subscription manually the problem happens. A client has just written to me.

Basically, when he identifies himself he should be redirected to the program access page but it shows him the member’s ID page – login.

And when he clicks on edit profile, it’s always the profile of “william b ….”

The only thing to do to solve the problem is that the client connects in private navigation, there it works.

    Can you help me out?

    Thank you.

One issue I see is that you have a caching issue that also needs to be resolved. I have explained the caching issue below:

The membership functionality needs a dynamic page being shown to the members. A cached page simply shows a static cached page (our plugin doesn’t get a chance to apply the conditions to that page). When a cached page is being shown, the user is not actually being shown a page which can read the login status of the user then show/hide the page’s content accordingly. That’s what causes the issue with membership type setup because membership type site is not the same as a blog type site. Caching is normally fine with a Blog type site where there is no need to show content based on a member’s login status.

We only support the following WordPress caching plugins at the moment:

    W3 Total Cache
    https://simple-membership-plugin.com/w3-total-cache-compatibility-simple-membership/

    WP Super Cache
    https://simple-membership-plugin.com/wp-super-cache-compatibility-simple-membership/

    WP Rocket Cache
    https://simple-membership-plugin.com/wp-rocket-cache-compatibility-for-simple-membership/

    WP Fastest Cache
    https://simple-membership-plugin.com/wp-fastest-cache-compatibility-for-simple-membership/

@wpinsider-1, In SWPM documentation on W3 Total Cache, it mentioned not to cache the login page. Do I simpler put the whole url of my login page in “Never cache the following pages:” box?
