problem redirecting to slug with hyphen

Can anyone identify what I need to do to make this type of redirection work:
Old slug:
/pagename/index.htmlNew slug:
https://www.sitename.com/page-name/The old directory structure /pagename/ only has the index.html file in it.
This is the only redirection in my list that is giving me a problem.
Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!
