Problem posting pictures in 3.03

  • When I get the pictures uploaded to the Gallery and “Save” the thumbnails do not display and the “show” button does not open in order to edit or delete etc. Multiple other problems have occurred in the process of posting pictures to the site. On a previous forum post it was suggested that the problem was the server GD Library which I have got the version and parameters from the hosting service as follows:

    Hostpapa Canada
    GD Support enabled
    GD Version bundled (2.0.34 compatible)
    FreeType Support enabled
    FreeType Linkage with freetype
    FreeType Version 2.2.1
    GIF Read Support enabled
    GIF Create Support enabled
    JPG Support enabled
    PNG Support enabled
    WBMP Support enabled
    XPM Support enabled
    XBM Support enabled

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    – increasing the memory available to PHP?
