I’ve been using “Image” ads and I had no problem to define their position as “center” by chosing that option at the Layout group.

When I tried to add an ad as “Rich Text”, although I’ve chosen again the center position, the ad only aligns to the left.

I never tried to use the <center></center> tags because I assumed the Layout group is there for that purpose, right?

    Tks,
    Marcio

    Hi Marcio,

    Thanks for reporting your problem.

Basically, there is no problem with centering rich content ads or with their alignment in general.

I would imagine that your theme overrides the CSS for the defined centering. To clarify, a link to a page where I can look at the problem would be helpful.

Another problem could be that you are using a left-aligned ad label for this ad, and this left-alignment is being transferred to the child element, namely the placement as such.

    Best regards,
    Joachim

    Hello Joachim.

There was no left-aligned element at the code and I don’t think the theme has something to do with it since the image ad works fine with the “center” radio button configuration.

I was only able to achieve the center-align for the rich-text ad by adding class=”aligncenter” to the img code.

    My website is at janela.com.br.

    Thanks,
    Marcio

    Hi Marcio,

I checked your website and noticed left-aligned ad labels.

Does the issue also appear when you use the code without the class, but center the ad label position for this placement in the placement options?

    Best regards,
    Joachim

Yes, Joachim, you are right but those banners with the left-aligned ad labels are not the problem, but the ones at the slider at the top (945x150px). There are no labels there.

The slider shows two banners. The red one (Grupo Coruja) uses Rich Text and the black one (SBT News) is an Image Ad.

I insist: the “center” radio button at the Layout group only works with the Image Ad. If I don’t use the class=”aligncenter” at the Rich Text code it will appear at the left of the screen.

I’ll do that so you can see. This is the code now:

    <a href="%link%" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><img src="https://www.janela.com.br/ads/coruja-945x150-2021-02-15.gif" /></a>

    Thanks,
    Marcio
