Problem on Image Upload

    The image upload screen is opening OK and we are able to enter our images and click the ‘submit’ button to upload the images. The progress bar acts normally and then when the screen should refresh and display the uploaded images, it instead refreshes back to the original upload screen with the submit button.

    Checking the webform confirms that the images are being uploaded.

    only refresh back to the upload form if there was an error in the upload. And in that case there should be a popup window with a message. Could the popup have been hidden or disabled?
    (Did the user ever answer “yes” to the browser’s “Prevent this page from showing further alerts” question? I plan eventually to rewrite those alerts so they cannot be disabled that way. )

    You should check carefully that all images and their associated information really were fully uploaded. If the user re-visits the page, do they see all the newly-uploaded images?

    Also, is this something that just started happening, or has it been going on for some time? And does it happen to everyone, or just occasionally?

    Sorry, I was away all day yesterday.

    This is a new problem. Everything worked good at the end of last competition at the end of January. Appears to be happening to everyone and on every upload.

    Popups are not blocked.

    After progress bar completes the page refreshes to the blank submit screen. Previously it refreshed to the ‘Add, Changer Delete’ screen and displayed the uploaded images.

    Refreshing the browser does nothing, but logging out and then back in displays the ‘Add, Changer Delete’ screen as expected.

    “browser’s “Prevent this page from showing further alerts” question?” No idea what you are referring to here. Is this IE related?

    I will try to determine if another plugin is interfering with the proper operation of Entry Wizard.

    There has been no change to EntryWizard since mid-december, so perhaps you should look at what has changed on your site.
    If you find a plugin that conflicts, please let me know.

    A “Prevent this page from showing further alerts” checkbox shows in alerts in several browsers once more than one alert has appeared.

    I have found the plugin that was causing the problem …. WP Super Cache.

    I had loaded this plugin when I was trying to speed up the slideshow on our splash page. I have deleted it and all is working OK now.

    Of course! It was caching the page.

    Most caching plugins have a way to exempt certain pages — any page containing ewz shortcodes should be exempted from the cache.
