    Hi everyone,

I have installed a theme called triply and it used to work just fine until a few weeks ago there was a problem, there is this line of code appearing everywhere on the front page:

Deprecated: Function Elementor\Widgets_Manager::register_widget_type is deprecated since version 3.5.0! Use register instead. in /home3/capitol1/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5383

I’ve tried installing and uninstalling some plugins and other ways as well but did not achieve anything. I did not really use this website so carelessly I did not mind this problem for sometimes but now I want to keep updating this page and was wondering is there anyway that anyone can help me with this please? Thanks.

    Kind regards

  • Can you disable all your experiments, please?

except for the Flex Box experiment (If you have it on your site)

    https://elementor.com/help/elementor-experiments

If it solves the issue, reactivate the ones you use.

    • Please make sure that all of your Plug-ins and Theme are updated.
    • Sometimes it isn’t obvious that there is a plugin update available. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Updates and click the Check Again button to be sure.
    • Please also regenerate the CSS via Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS on your WordPress Dashboard,
    • then make sure that you are clear:
    • your WordPress cache (your WordPress plugin if you have one), your server cache (if
    • you have one. In this case, you can contact your hosting provider).
    • ?Please deactivate all your plugins besides Elementor and see if it helps. If it solves the issue, reactivate them one by one to find the culprit. If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) and see if it makes any difference.

    Thank you for the reply.

I have tried all of the above: deactivating experiments, updating plugins, deactivating and activating them one by one and I can say the culprit is Elementor.

Currently, development/custom code queries (custom widgets and functions, Theme Child, custom code and CSS, BETA testing issues, compatibility issues, etc.) have to be directed to our GitHub project, where our developers will be able to assist. Kindly note that our GitHub project is not a support channel; therefore, the response times may vary. We appreciate your understanding.

I hope this helps. If I missed something, please reply if you have any further questions regarding this ticket and Elementor. I’d request that you open a new ticket for any other issue; this will allow us to give you more accurate support.
