Problem of variations in product – no refresh on front side.

In my products have two variations – color and product.
In one product, there is one color with one size (instead of 3 – “S” “M” “L”).

On the front side I choose “turquoise” and size that is missing (M).
I get a message, and the fields are depleted.I choose again the color, and the color turquoise is missing.
The problem repeats in a variety of situations.
I think it’s a problem of refresh.I would like your help in solving the problem.
