The links didn’t carry across so I tried to delete and reinput. DM seems to “remember” one past download (If I add that it appears to work but gives “File not found” when I click the link). I can’t add any new downloads (i.e. Quick add download>Select File just returns to the Insert Download page, no additional download added.

So I uninstalled and removed the image folder, reinstalled and the problem remains as before. First question is where might it be finding that old past download?

Fixed it myself but in an unsatisfactory manner. I would have expected that deleting the plug-in which says something like “and associated data” would remove all traces including wp-content/uploads/dlm_uploads and the WP DB entries.
I found the relevant entries in the WP database and deleted them. Messing with the DB is high risk, not recommended.

    Hey @robhindle,

Please note that just like any media file link if added to your website includes full path, so does the path to the download file. The only way is to modify the database.
