    Hello,

    I’m facing a weird problem!

After a lot of efforts and more than a week of trying out hundreds of things I have successfully mapped one of my multisite-website (sub-derectories/folders based at Godaddy) to a domain name.

I can still browse the above website with no problems, however when I try to map another site to yet another domain name it fails!

I have done everything absolutely similar in case of both the websites but when I browse to the second domain name it shows a godaddy landing page which reads “Sorry! the site is not currently available.”

Any idea, what could be wrong?

    Thank you

You didn’t map it right probably. If it’s the GoDaddy landing page, then you need to make sure it’s pointing to the main install, and not it’s own folder.

It’s on the server end, not WP.

    Hello,

I have used “WordPress MU Domain Mapping” plugin.
I have the following at the moment.
    1. http//primarydomain-com
    2. http//seconddomain-org (mapped to http//primarydomain-com/subsite1 and working perfectly)
    3. http//thirddomain-com (not working for http//primarydomain-com/subsite2)

seconddomain-org and thirddomain-com both are pointing to root directory (I have just double checked)

FYI: Its a shared GoDaddy account without dedicated IP. Is there any safe way I can share more details?

    regards

Don’t know how but it has fixed itself (I didn’t do anything). I created this site 2 days back and it did not work till my last post!
