Problem Logging In

  • Hey Guys,
    So I just launched my WordPress site and for some reason I can’t log into my admin. I type in the username and password and click on “Log In”. When I do that it just blinks, doesn’t log me in, and still asks for a password without saying it’s the wrong password or anything. Can someone help me out with this issue? Thanks!

    Oh the password is correct. Like I said, once I enter the password it doesn’t say that my password is incorrect, it just blinks and doesn’t let me in.

    Try deleting any site cookies or files from your browser cache…when the login box ‘wiggles’, that means the incorrect login info was entered.

    Also, if you imported a database after creation of a new MySQL DB and installation of WordPress, the admin password is then from the site the import came from.
