    one interesting thing is it works fine when I am logged in.

    Whatever the underlying cause, it seems that you have the display of errors turned on: when the ajax response comes back from The Events Calendar (which is in/is expected to be JSON format) an error is being written into the response which breaks it.

    Can you try turning off the display of errors (seek help from your web host if you are unsure how)?

    Ideally we’d resolve the error itself, but that may stem from some other plugin/be a theme conflict and ultimately might be safe to ignore in general – we’ll leave you to assess that, though ??
