Problem loading JPG for header in Twenty Ten theme

  • Am trying to load an image to replace the standard header picture, and after clicking the Upload button I get the following message.

    The uploaded file could not be moved to /www/virtual/resultant.co.nz/htdocs/wp-content/uploads

    Any idea what this means, and how I fix the problem?

  • I think it is file permission problem. Check whether your uploads directory is writable by web server. If you understand a little bit about it, try to make its permission 777 first.

    Thanks, but I tried making it Read/Write/Execute (777) across the whole set of directories, but it still wouldn’t work.

    Very confusing…
