Problem integrating mailchimp to EDD checkout page.

    Hi there

    Before getting into the issues, I should mention that I’m a total noob with no coding experience, and I’m also using EDD Checkouts Field Manager I’m experiencing the following two problems:

    1. On the integration page it keeps saying “This list does not have interest groups enabled”… but I do… at least I think I do. I’ve added groups, and they are showing up in my mailchimp mailing list. So how do I go about “enabling them” so they become an active option on the EDD Mailchimp integration page?

    2. During testing I’ve seen the checkbox on the checkout page, however even when it’s checked, the mailing list doesn’t update with the new subscription, nor is there a confirmation email send to the new subscriber. Any ideas about why this wouldn’t be doing anything? It’s as if it’s just a dead check-box with no functionality behind it.

    Hi The Real Plasticboy,

    I haven’t personally ever used the EDD Checkouts Field Manager, so I’m not entirely sure what that plugin is intended to do or how it functions.

    With our EDD integration, you should see the check box on the checkout page for users who aren’t actually subscribed to the list yet. Once they subscribe and are logged in, the check box will no longer appear for those users.

    From the description in #2 it sounds like there is some sort of conflict or something going on. Any chance you can grant us temporary access to take a look. Without actually having access to that EDD extension, I’m not sure how I can test things on my end.
