Problem installing WP e-Commerce 3.8.2

Hi there,

I’m currently working with the book WordPress 2.9 e-commerce by Brian Bondari. I’ve set up a localhost and installed WordPress 3.1.2 and all is good.

The problem i’m having is when i go to install the WP e-commerce plugin i get the following:
