That is due to the fact that we changed the name of the main plugin file in latest version. You can easily fix this by removing and reinstalling the plugin (its settings will be preserved).

In version 1.2.x we renamed the main plugin file. This can cause a minor glitch in WordPress, resulting in the Skrill plugin appearing twice in Plugins Admin page.

    SOLUTION
To solve the issue, simply remove the old Skrill plugin and install the latest version. Its settings will be preserved.

    I have the same problem.

I deleted the plugin via FTP but the problem persists. When install the new version, appears again the old and the new in the Admin page.

You will have to delete the plugin from WordPress “Plugins” page. This is because WordPress keeps an internal reference to the old plugin in the database, deleting it via FTP won’t be enough.

I updated the instructions to reinstall the plugin and get rid of the duplicate. You can find them here: [SOLUTION] Duplicate Skrill plugin in “Plugins” Admin page.

    Full reinstallation steps

Go to WordPress Admin > Plugins.
Look for the WooCommerce Skrill plugin and click on Deactivate.
On the same plugin, click on Delete. WordPress will show that two plugins will be removed, even though it’s only one. The plugin settings will be preserved.
Re-install the latest version of the plugin.

    Same problem.
When I installed the plugin, I was again with two. Becomes active the old version V 1.0.8.140416 asking for update.

The new version, v 1.2.4.140610, is inactive.

You are right. It looks like the WordPress repository still contains the old plugin file. I removed it now, this should solve the issue.

It is not possible to translate the plugin?

    Plugin Author Diego

    (@daigo75)

The plugin uses WordPress’ localisation function for all text. To translate the text, you just have to add the .mo and .po files for the language in the <plugin folder>/languages folder.

I would recommend using the CodeStyling Localization plugin for the task, which will find all the text for you and allow you to create the files automatically.

I have the CodeStyling Localization plugin but the plugin WooCommerce Skrill Gateway does not appear to translate.

Thanks for the feedback, I will report that.
