problem in first step

  • It means exactly what it says:

    WordPress version 3.3.1 requires PHP version of at least 5.2.4.
    Your server seems to be reporting that it is running PHP version 4.4.8.
    Contact your host and ask them for information on what can be done.

    this is right i have old version,
    but why it never asked me this ? i always install wp without asking me for old version just confused me

    i think i will try to old version of wp then upgrade it

    will upgrade the server also
