Problem In Admin Panel

  • I use WordPress for most of my sites however I decided to change to a CMS for one of my sites, and to cut a long story short, I’m going back to WordPress, it’s just so much simpler and easy to use, however I’m having problems with this particular install.

    I install, everything is fine, however once I’m logged in, when I click on the Design link, a pop up comes up asking me if I want to download the file, and I can’t get onto the page.

    Tried multiple installs, tried using 2.5 rather than 2.5.1 but still no luck. This doesn’t happen on any of my other WP installs and I can’t think what the problem is.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I agree with pf69. If you have a VPS or dedicated try a restart. Other than that best bet would probably be time or support ticket to your web host.

    This all assumes that PHP is set up with your hosting and that you didn’t add some cranky file handlers somewhere.
